1. JAM Day equates to paid release time for "new" teachers in their 3rd to 5th year of teaching.
2. JAM stands for Job Associated Mentoring.
3. A JAM day is a day that is to be used for co-planning where "new" teachers work with a self chosen mentor.
4. The number of days allotted to support this mentoring varies from year to year but is usually in the range of 1-3 days.
