8. Language occurs through social interaction, Vygotsky who is the theorist believes language built on each of the three perspectives. Language is a development process and happens in an environment where social communication is occurring often between individuals.

9. Behaviorist emphasizes the role of nurture and learning happens through stimuli, response and reinforcements in the environment. skinner says infants are more likely to repeat a sound after they see the positive response of their mother or caregiver.
