1. PRESCRIPTIVE GRAMMAR: It defines the language through norms and precepts that determine what is acceptable or adequate according to its form. It proposes an ideal, exemplary type of language. Example: Don´t use a double negative. "I didn´t go nowhere"

2. DESCRIPTIVE GRAMMAR: deals with the use of the language, describes how the speakers of a language use the language in a certain historical moment, does not use concepts such as correct or incorrect. Example: End a sentence with a preposition. "Who do you want to speak to?

3. ARTICLES (the, a, an) Definite and Indefinite Articles Definite Articles: when you are talking for specific thing, person,idea. Example: The black cat. The roses are red. Indefinite Articles: things that are countable and singular we use: a and an. Example: a cat, an umbrella.

4. NOUNS Concrete nouns: is the noun to name things that you can recognize with your senses. Example: bottle, flowers. Abstract nouns: is a noun to name ideas, qualities or features. Example: fear, courage, joy. Singular noun: nouns that name one person, place, thing or idea. Example: my girlfriend bought a bottle of water. Plural noun: a noun used to name more than one person, place, thing or idea. Example: The shoes are dirty. Countable noun: things, people, or anything that is can be counted. Example: His notebooks are on the chair. Uncountable noun: you can not use numbers to count them. Example: Drink the cup of milk with chocolate.
