2. Indefinite article

2.1.1. is used to modify non-specific or non-particular nouns.

2.1.1.1. (before a singular noun beginning with a consonant sound) Ex. A car, a dog, a glass of water.

2.2.1. is used to modify non-specific or non-particular nouns.

2.2.1.1. (before a singular noun beginning with a vowel sound) Ex. An apple, an orange.
