Active voice and passive

1. Active voice

1.1. Means the subject is doing the action either directly or indirectly

1.2. Is more concise- Easier to understand- Less work for ypur reader

1.3. STRUCTURE

1.3.1. Subject+transituve verb+ direct object

1.4. PRONOUNS

1.4.1. I - YOU - HE/SHE/IT - WE - THEY

2. Passive voice

2.1. Means the subject is receiving the action

2.2. -Longer and more complex sentences.-They tend to dilute the resposibility of the subject in the action of the verb - Suggest that things happened by themselve - The main verb chnages to past paticiple.

2.3. STRUCTURE

2.3.1. Direct object + verb to be + verb in participle + preposition BY

2.4. OBJECT PRONOUNS

2.4.1. ME - YOU - HIM/ HER/ IT - US-THEM
