To locate and deliver the medicine for a cancer cell by Mind Map: To locate and deliver the medicine for a cancer cell

1. Varioubles

1.1. Blood pressure

1.2. Number of robots

1.3. Amount of Anti Body

2. Cancer

2.1. What is Cancer?

2.1.1. Cancer is the disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body

2.2. How does it behave?

2.2.1. A cancer cell would stay in the same spot, however, it grows in a fast and abnormal way

2.3. Treatment?

2.3.1. There are currently several treatments for cancer, such as: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, transplantation. However, my simulation is for a future possible medicine which can be brought directly to the cancer cell

2.4. Stages of Cancer?

2.4.1. Stage 0: carcinoma in situ. Stage I: cancers are localized to one part of the body. Stage II: cancers are locally advanced. Stage III: cancers are also locally advanced. Whether a cancer is designated as Stage II or Stage III can depend on the specific type of cancer; for example, in Hodgkin's Disease, Stage II indicates affected lymph nodes on only one side of the diaphragm, whereas Stage III indicates affected lymph nodes above and below the diaphragm. The specific criteria for Stages II and III therefore differ according to diagnosis. Stage IV: cancers have often metastasized, or spread to other organs or throughout the body.

2.5. Causes:

2.5.1. The causes of cancer includes genetic factors; lifestyle factors such as tobacco use, diet, and physical activity; certain types of infections; and environmental exposures to different types of chemicals and radiation.

3. Area

3.1. The range of area with the robot will search for is approximately between the size of a muscle and and organ

3.1.1. There is a limit to the area because it will shorten the time and therefore reduce the risk of leakage of drugs into inappropriate body parts.

4. Agents

4.1. Robot (nano)

4.2. Cancer cells (Destination)

4.3. Obstacles (Other cells and things floating in the body)

5. Time limit

5.1. 5 minutes

5.1.1. The robot is structured and designed with materials which will breakdown in a particular part of the human body within 5 minutes, to stop the chance of the drugs of leaking into inappropriate places.

5.1.2. If within 5minutes, the cancer cell is located, then the robot would release the possible drugs and hopefully cure the patient

6. Goals

6.1. Locate the cancer cell

6.1.1. To locate the cancer cell within 5minutes, whiles avoiding all obstacles to reduce chance of breakage

6.2. Release the medicine into the cell

6.2.1. Release the drugs into the area of affection, then the robot will break down. This will be represented by the robots in class by playing a tone
