1.1. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ 2 เหตุการณ์ ที่ เกิดขึ้น และสิ้นสุดลงแล้วในอดีตทั้ง 2 เหตุการณ์ ซึ่งเหตุการณ์หนึ่งได้สิ้นสุดลงก่อนหน้าอีกเหตุการณ์
1.1.1. เกิดขึ้นและสิ้นสุดลงทีหลัง จะใช้ Past Simple Tense
1.1.2. เกิดขึ้นและสิ้นสุดลงทีหลัง จะใช้ Past Simple Tense
1.2. มักจะใช้กับคำว่า
1.2.1. Before
1.2.1.1. Before + Past Simple Tense + Past Perfect Tense
1.2.1.1.1. Before I went to the school, I had had a car accident. (ก่อนที่ฉันจะไปโรงเรียน ฉันได้ประสบอุบัติเหตุทางรถยนต์)
