1. SUMMARY:
1.1. ->Two boys on a London street were surprised to see fresh muddy footprints of bare feet without
1.2. finding who was making them.
1.3. ->These footprints had been made by Griffin, an eccentric scientist who had discovered how to make his body transparent.
1.4. -> To get away after he had burnt his landlord's house down, he had to remove his clothes to become invisible.
1.5. . Griffin entered unseen into a big store to get warm. When the store closed at night, he put on new
1.6. clothes, consumed meat and coffee from the restaurant and went to sleep on a pile of quilts.
1.7. . He overslept and was seen by the shop assistants in the morning. He again took off his clothes to
1.8. escape them
1.9. -> Then he entered a theatrical company, and wore bandages on his face, dark glasses, a false nose
1.10. and bushy side-whiskers. He robbed the shopkeeper of his money and escaped to Iping village by
1.11. train to avoid being caught.
1.12. -> He rented two rooms at an inn in the village. He explained to Mrs Hall, its owner, that he had an
1.13. accident and did not want to be disturbed. Soon his money finished and so he robbed a
1.14. clergyman's house by using his invisibility.
1.15. >That same day, when Mrs. Hall entered his room, she and her husband were 'attacked by the
1.16. furniture. This made Mrs. Hall think that it was haunted by spirits. ->When the clergyman reported the
1.17. burglary to the police, Griffin was suspected of having a hand in it. So, the village constable, Jaffers
1.18. came to arrest him on suspicion.
1.19. > Meanwhile, Mrs. Hall asked Griffin to explain all the unusual happenings. Griffin lost his temper and
1.20. took off all his clothes and became Invisible, knocked Jaffers unconscious and ran away
2. The Invisible Man The Invisible Man is a 1933 American science fiction horror film directed by James Whale. Based on H. G. Wells' 1897 The Invisible Man and produced by Universal Pictures, the film stars Claude Rains, Gloria Stuart, and William Harrigan.
