Marketing planning

1. All planners have good principles of accounting, the value of the company to stockholders. All planners keep the 'big picture' in mind, they all support the overall mission.
2. Definition of planning: means that an organization develops objectives before taking action
3. Linked to other levels in an organistation
3.1. Strategic planning and operational planning
3.2. Functional planning (comes 2nd in a company)

4.1. Marketing planning in Fitness first, will look like this: Strategic planning will set out the new course (combining the two types), the marketing planning department will in fact get the assignment to promote this new product. They will also perform some market research on the other companies that sell either one of these products. The marketing planning department can implement these ideas into their company. The day to day cases will be taken over by the operational planning department.
