1. How? They simply pierce the earth and at a certain depth a biscous black liquid comes out called petroleum and then it is further refined to convert it into different fuels.

4. Where? The first well is drilled in Pensilvania
5. When? In one thousand eight hundred fifty-nine
6. Why? They were looking for a new energy capable of making the lamps of the time last longer.
