1. Source; If it's presented as fact does the author have sources.
2. Timeliness; When was it written? If you are working on a science report then you need up to date information.
3. Authority; Verify the credentials of the author.
4. Purpose; Why was it wrote? Is it too basic? Too complicated?
5. Evenness; Just because a source is biased doesn't mean you can't use it.
6. coverage; Is your topic covered thoroughly? Does it have the information you need? Is it relevant?
