1.1. Is there an equal treatment of perspectives?
1.1.1. Does the author recognize other points of view?
2. C=Coverage
2.1. How thoroughly is your topic covered?
2.1.1. Is the information new? Does it support what you have found in other sources?
3. T=Timeliness
3.1. When was it written?
3.1.1. Look for the date the item was published, then apply some common sense.
4. A=Authority
4.1. Who wrote it? Who published it?
4.1.1. Verify the author's credentials. Does the author have expertise in the area you are researching?
5. S=Source:
5.1. What documentation does the author provide?
5.1.1. If the information is presented as fact, does the author document sources?
6. P=Purpose
6.1. Why was this source written?
6.1.1. If you don't know why this source was written and produced, how can you know if it's a good source for your project?
