1. Fire and Rescue Service Bob Neil. he was born on 24th june 1952 and educated at Abbs Cross Grammar School.Bob had a career as a barrister specialising in criminal law and then in 2006 he was elected Member of Parliament for Bromley & Chislehurst and was elected again in 2010 and now he is a Under Secretary of State at the Department of Communities and Local Government. his resposablites is to help eric pickles so he is not taking on too much so he took on fire service and help local commites and neighoods aswell but helpping eric pickles with day to day stuff is improtant as well because he has a lot more control and power.

1.1. Fire & Rescue Sevice. There is 44,000 fire officers and 5% of that women and 3,600 applications try and join the fire service.

1.1.1. Fire & Rescue Authority. This is all about the fire service having a commitcation with the place they are based at. this will help them to come to schools and different places to do talk or to fit fire alarms.

2. Secretary of State Communities and local Goverment Eric Pickles. he was born in Keighley in north yorkshire he came apart of bradford council in 1979. vetween 1988 and 1990 he severed as a leader for the conservative party. in 2010 he became secretary of state Communities and local Goverment. he is responsible for supporting local goverments and helpign communities and neighbourhoods, local economic growth, housing, planning and building, fire and the funding for fire service. he has experiance so that he can help out poeple and the goverment by give ideas and what he knows.

Home Secretary Theresa May is in charge of the home office and security and terrorism as well as the legislative progranne and expenditure issues she has been in the goverment since 1997 she has been in the cabint for work and pensions and shadow minister for women. she is responsibilities that she has is defending the UK for any Terrorism, securing the borders of the UK and controlling immigration, helping the police and local communities to step up and fight against crime and anti social behaviour, but the big one is to protect the public.

Policing, Crime and Security Damian Green before Damian was a financial journaslist that was up too 1997. he has worked for the BBc and the times as well as channel 4 as a producer and presenter specialising in business prgrames. he has held a number of different positions in parliament since he was elected in 1997. he was shadow secretay for education and skills, transpost and imgertartion. he is in charge of the police ( 135,00 pc) and how the police is funded and what the targets need to put in place like the crime rate, the firearms policy and public order there is so many thing that, does.

3.1.1. The Police Service in the uk alone there is 135.00 and that is PC. in september 2011 we lost around 6,012 police offices but what they doing is wait for poeple to retire and then not recurting.

3.1.1.1. the Police service Authority this is where there is a connecison between the commity and police. this is useful becasue they can tell the police where crime is and what is happening around where they will

4. Home Office is incharge of Immigration, passports, counter terrorism, policing, drugs and crime and the Home Secretary is head of the home office and she is responsible for all of their work and that is Theresa May

5. Uk Border Agency is a part for the home office and this protects the UK border and it is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the UK and it is a global organisation and Mark Harper is in charge of this department.

6. Mark Haper is a conservative that is in charge of the border agency, he helps and improve and make the border agency more effective by putting experiences with the agency to make work better because of the fincalsal time but he also does border control and immgration as well so making sure no one is sneaking in the uk without the right paper work. Mark stood for forest of dean in 2001 but in 2005 december he was appointed shadow minister for defence and in 2007 in july was for put as shadow minister for disabled poeple.
