1. Under secretary of state of health services(Norman Lamb) is responsible for the pay that the NHS recieve as well as the staffing they use. He helps Jeremy Hunt run the department of health.

1.1. The NHS have the most staff out of all the public services. they currently have employed an estimated 1.3 million staff. They are responsible for the health of the nation. This includes being responsible for a patiant evan after they have had treatment or surgery(aftercare). The staff of the NHS have to accept proffesional accountibillity for their actions and be able to justify why that was the right chocie.

1.1.1. Health Authority yorkshire and the Humber are the link between the NHS and the community's that they serve. They do this by visiting people in the community to help them become healthier and as a result decrease the cost of the NHS by having a healthier country.

1.1.1.1. Care quality commision is an inspectorate that inspects the hospitals, care homes and GP's that are funded by the NHS. It is also possible for members of the public to complain through the care quality commision. It also investigates M/S conduct

2. Secretary of state for health (Jeremy Hunt) is responsible for the NHS and the GP'S. He uses a budget of 105 billion pounds for the NHS. He also slects the four ministers that aid him in his work (including Norman Lamb)

3. Defence Secertary (Philip Hammond) controls the pay and the equipment that the armed forces recieve. He decides what pensions they can recieve from injury however he cannot decide to go to war.

3.1. British Army consits of 101,000 personel, the RAF consits of 40,000, Navy consits of 35,000 and are responsible for protecting the country at home and over seas. The army also have to look after their own personel abroad and at home. The entire armed forces work togther to secure the country's intrests.

3.1.1. Defence vetting Agency (DVA) is an inspectorate and as such inspect the army to make sure they are doing there job properly. They do this by checking applicants background for any foreign connections concerning terroist connections or even criminal records.
