Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product? by Mind Map: Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product?

1. Reverse on reverse shot

1.1. I didn't use the reverse on reverse shot as it is mainly used when there is a two-way conversation. During my film opening there are not conversations therefore the reverse on reverse shot wasnt needed.

2. Match on match action

2.1. During my film opening i used a match on match action shot, showing the psychraist walking down the aslyum.

2.2. I used this shot as the match on match action in my film represents something is going to happen,

2.3. i let my audience decide as it creates mystery for my film opening, which is a typical convention of a psychological thriller.

3. 180 degree rule

3.1. In my film opening I didn't use the 180 degree rule, as it was not needed. However so that my opening didn't become to complicated I incorperated aspects of the rule.
