1. Education:

1.1. MSc International Business – Strategic Marketing, Maastricht University

1.1.1. SEPTEMBER 2021 – AUGUST 2022 Cum Laude

1.1.1.1. In August of 2022, I graduated cum laude with my master's degree at Maastricht University. A corresponding grade adapted to the German university grading scheme would equal a score of 1.2 (See RWTH Aachen Grade conversion). Only 1% of business schools worldwide have been honoured with the ‘Triple Crown’ of accreditations. The Maastricht University School of Business and Economics is one of them. Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics (SBE) is a world leader in customer-centric service management. Its affiliated Service Science Factory institute is one of the leading institutions of service management worldwide. It collaborates with companies from a variety of countries and industries to conduct research and develop solutions and innovations to help companies become more customer-centric.

1.2. BSc International Business – Major Entrepreneurship, Maastricht University

1.2.1. SEPTEMBER 2018 – AUGUST 2021 .

1.2.1.1. From September 2018 to August 2021, I conducted my bachelor studies in International Business at Maastricht University. The first two years of this study programme are all about what makes the business world go round. I successfully achieved courses such as Finance and Accounting, Management of Operations and Product Development, all of which will have an international focus. And also courses that are specifically geared toward the international markets, such as Global Business and International Marketing Management. In the third year, I could unfortunately not attend my exchange semester in Portugal due to Covid-19, but successfully majored in “Entrepreneurship” nevertheless. In contrast to similar highly ranked universities, Maastricht University makes use of Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Problem-Based Learning is an innovative, student-centred instructional method widely used at Maastricht University. I worked in small tutorial groups of 12 to 15 students, and collaboratively worked on practical solutions to real-world problem. During a tutorial group meeting, students are separated in smaller groups and are forced to facilitate and lead meetings for 2 hours per meeting. This allowed me to build independence and develop research skills on my own. As opposed to lectures – which are still the primary teaching method at most universities – PBL is dynamic, requiring active participation in a variety of tasks such as deciding how to approach a given problem or setting learning goals.
