1. Passive
1.1. Definition:
1.1.1. Not expressing thoughts or feelings.
1.2. Characteristics:
1.2.1. Slumped posture, quiet and shy voice, statements sound like questions, little or no eye contact
1.3. Example:
1.3.1. "I wanted to work with Jessica, but I guess I can work with you."
2. Aggressive
2.1. Definition:
2.1.1. Expressing thoughts and feelings in a threatening way
2.2. Characteristics:
2.2.1. Tense body, pointing, loud voice, threatening remarks, "you" statements
2.3. Examples:
2.3.1. "You always act stupid when you are around my family."
3. Assertive
3.1. Definition:
3.1.1. Expressing thoughts and feelings in an open, direct way
3.2. Characteristics:
3.2.1. Positive body language, firm and pleasant voice, good eye contact, "I" statements
3.3. Examples:
3.3.1. "I feel sad when you do not include me in your game."
