1. flag holder
1.1. start pledge
1.1.1. The flag holder is responsible for holding the flag and taking the lead in reciting the pledge. The flag holder says,"I", and the rest of the class will join in to say the pledge. This gives a child the feeling of importance in the classroom. They feel they are included and participating.

3.1. tidy up room
4. math helper
4.1. pass out papers
4.1.1. The math helper is responsible for passing out all papers and also for passing out manipulatives. The math helper collects all manipulatives after the lesson is complete. This important job gives a child pride in what they are doing.
