1. Key Terms in Polling
1.1. Sampling: a mathematical process.
1.2. Target Population: group of individuals you are interested in knowing something about.
1.3. Random: every member of the population has an equal chance at being chosen for the sample.
2. Polling Techniques
2.1. Question Wording: the way pollsters askquestions.
2.2. Leading Question: phrasing a question in a certain way can help direct a respondents answer in the way the researcher wants.
2.3. Loaded Words: different words used to represent the same concept, can produce different results.
