Students Laptop & Internet Rules and Regulations for EDCT 2030

1. What if Student breaks the rules

1.1. if Student is caught abusing the laptop/computer privileges during class, they will receive a failing grade for that assignment.

1.2. if student breaks or damages the computer, they will be required to pay for the repairs

2. During Class

2.1. students are required to use a computer/laptop to complete assignments

2.2. if using a school computer/laptop or personal laptop during class, students are not allowed to do things unrelated to the class work

2.3. students are only allowed to use school computers or laptops in the Education building for class work outside of class

2.3.1. however, they can use their own personal laptop or computer for work unrelated to the class

3. Care of the laptop

3.1. students may not eat or drink anything near the computers

3.2. students may not throw or drop the laptops

3.3. students may only download or install approved software required for the assignments on the school computers or laptops

4. After Class

4.1. students are required to log off and turn off the school computer/laptop, and if they have a laptop, return it to the spot where they found it and plug it into the charger
