2.1. Montage - We have used a montage of photographs to tell the story of the main character. The photographs how he has grown up through pictures of him as a baby, a party scene as a teenager, college with his friends and learning to drive. This is developing conventions because we have used a photograph montage instead of dialogue or a script to tell the character's story.

2.2. This will allow the audience to recognise the coming of age genre visually through photographs instead of dialogue.

3. Examples of coming of age films includes Juno, Toy Story 2 and Almost Famous and has conventions of the genre such as love, loss, pregnancy and moving out.
