1.1. Keyboard: Types the information into a word processing document.
1.1.1. Mouse: Selects items on the screen in order to input the data, edit, or select information in a desired location.
2. Description: Any device that can be connected to a computer to enter data.

4. Description: Any device that moves data out of the computer.
4.1. Examples: soft copy, hard copy
4.1.1. Soft Copy: Electronic forms such as the monitor has information that has been put into the computer.
4.1.1.1. Hard Copy: Any printed work that was generated on the computer.
