2.1.5. look for pathogens or antigens floating in body fluids

2.1.6. can become memory cells to elicit a faster or stronger response to future infections

2.2. B-cells

2.2.1. mature in bone marrow

2.2.2. produce antibodies

2.2.2.1. antibodies

2.2.2.1.1. proteins produced by B-cells which tag pathogens or antigens for destruction or it disables them

2.2.3. can become memory cells to elicit a faster or stronger response to future infections

3. Second Line of Defense

3.1. Pathogen Specific WBC's

3.2. Macrophages

3.2.1. nonspecific cells which engulf pathogens or antigens or cell debris

3.3. Inflammatory response

3.3.1. vasodialation

3.3.1.1. movement of macropages out of blood
