Rose Scott

1. Rose Scott was born in 1847 and died in 1925. she was born at Glendon, New South Wales and was part if the Australian suffragettes.

2. She was part of a group of women called the suffragettes which means she stood up for women so they could have the right to vote.

3. She was also a very good public speaker which proved very useful to the suffragette.

4. Her mother died in 1896 and she was very depressed about it. However when her mother died she was even more determined to succeed with the suffragette

5. Scott became the first president of the women's political league in 1902.
