3.2.2. The Nile runs through rocky mountains making the land difficult for farming.

3.2.3. Although there isn't good farming land there is a great abundance of mineral wealth.

3.2.4. There also was a lot of trading due to location.

4. Science and Technology

4.1.1. They made huge stable structures like tombs

4.1.2. Built roads and canals

4.1.3. Astronomers created a precise calendar based on moon cycles

4.1.4. Farmers learned new techniques that increased harvest sizes

4.2. Nile

4.2.1. Built pyramids using ramps and rollers

4.2.2. Were masters of human anatomy

4.2.3. Built very strong, sturdy buildings due to there understaning of math and engineering

4.2.4. Made paper of paprus that lasted to modern day

5. Arts and Education

5.1. Huang He

5.1.1. Used picture symbols on oracle bones as first writing

5.1.2. Highly decorative bronze vessels and objects

5.1.3. Confucious had his ideas and wrote a book called Analects about how people should have love and respect for people

5.1.4. Another philosopher is Daoism which is balance of nature

5.2. Nile

5.2.1. Paintings were detailed and colorful, and showed many things from Gods to daily life

5.2.2. Few children recieved any education and those that did were trades

5.2.3. Statues were very large and imposing and showed gods and pharohs

5.2.4. Wrote in hieroglyphics and wrote about basically everything

6. Social Structure and Family

6.1.1. Children must respect parents

6.1.2. Children must respect elders

6.1.3. Parents must care for children with love and kindness

6.1.4. Males and females must have balance to have perfect harmony in nature

6.2. Nile

6.2.1. Different family life varied from social class to social class.

6.2.2. Pharaohs often married their sisters.

6.2.3. Royalty had many wives but regular men only had one.

6.2.4. They lived in family units. Poor people may live in a tiny hut, slightly richer would live in a small brick house and the rich lived in palaces.

6.2.5. Woman Mainly took care of the children and the house.

6.2.6. no educations for the children.

7. Government and Leaders

7.1.1. Monarchy, surrounded by court of wealthy nobles

7.1.2. Governors rule distant parts of kingdom

7.1.3. Ruled by Mandate of Heaven

7.1.4. Gods supported a just ruler, no one corrupt could hold power

7.2. Nile

7.2.1. Kushite rulers held power for only a century

7.2.2. Piankhi conquered all of Egypt in the end.

7.2.3. Kushite people fled back to Nubia.

7.2.4. Egypt ruled Kush for more than 400 years.
