1. FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE Learning Goal: The role and value of mind mapping techniques and successful project management based on mind mapping, particularly in a collaborative creative environment.

1.1. HELPFUL RESOURCES: Computer, internet access to online research materials

1.2. ACTIVITIES: Use a Mindmap to organise own thoughts and reflectionson the value of mindmapping, add to mind map over a period of time to take into account new research and ideas

1.3. ASSESSMENT: Reflective Journal showing research and reflection on using mindmapping techniques to organise ideas and formulate project goals, particuarly in a creative, collaborative environment

2. FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE Learning Goal: Approach learning the application in a systemic, detail centred approach.

3. APPLICATION/SKILLS Learning Goal: Use Mindmeister to Mindmap the components of a project and assign tasks to individuals.

3.1. ASSESSMENT: 'Forward thinking assessment': show a Mindmeister mind map to design a learning outline for a future course the student maybe teaching the future.

3.2. ACTIVITIES: choose a topic for a course and use mindmeister to plan a series of Learning Goals, and overall course plan for a course the student may be teaching in the future.

4. CARING/VALUES Learning Goal: develop an appreciation of the value of mind mapping as a creative technique, appreciate value of organisation and systematic planning, value responsibility for completing assigned tasks, appreciation of collaborative and process in creative work, and problem solving, appreciation of online sopcial media resources in a learning/educational environment.

4.1. ASSESSMENT: Reflective Journal laid out in a systematic, detailed way, showing value of mind mapping techniques and general systematic planning. Show investigation of project management techniques and further tools to help systematic planning/attention to detail.

4.2. ACTIVITIES: Use Mindmeister to mindmap a plan for developing a personal development plan to assist in developing skills to encourage attention to detail and systematic approaches to learning and project management

5. HUMAN DIMENSION Learning Goal: Learn about your own ability to function effectively as a self directed learner, good and bad habits; good and bad communication habits, understand own habits in terms of systematic planning, attention to detail. .

5.1. ASSESSMENT: Reflective Journal showing reflections on self directed learning progress, good and bad habits in the context of students learning style, and how that might effect sef directed learning, and working collaboratively with others; invite others to share collaberatively in using a mindmap, give them editing/viewing rights.

5.2. ACTIVITIES: Take learning test from Mindtools, investigate advantages/disadvantages of learning style using online research. Invite colleagues onto your minmap, allow them editing and/or viewing rights; check over history of edits

6. HUMAN DIMENSION Learning Goal: Understand how others might have different learning styles/forms of collaboration, and how to adjust one's own collaborative style to accommodate them.

7. INTEGRATION Learning Goal: Investigate and understand how mindmeister can be used in different educational and industrial settings.

7.1. ASSESSMENT: Use Mindmeister to create a a project plan for a personal, non work related project, eg gardening

7.2. ACTIVITIES: Use Mindmeister in an industrial setting. Work placement?

7.3. Helpful Resources: Will need access to work placement in an appropriate setting for mindmapping use. A collaborative creative environment preferably.

8. LEARNING TO LEARN Learning Goal: Investigate other online apps that expand the functionality of mindmeister, such as more advanced project management tools, and investigate other techniques for collaborative problem solving and project managment in creative/educational environments, continue to approach future learning ain a more systematic, detail oriented style.

8.1. ASSESSMENT: Reflective Journal showing investigation of other online applications related to mind mapping and project management, for example: mindjet. A detailed plan for future learning.

8.2. ACTIVITIES: Exchange information with classmates and peers about related apps, do 10 tools challenge to discover more useful apps. Join an online community of practice that will encourag further related learning.
