3. TPACK

3.1. Technology Knowledge

3.1.1. Knowing how to use technology, different types, how they work, functionality.

3.2. Pedagogy knowledge

3.2.1. Knowing teaching practices, classroom management, teaching style, intrinsic or extrinsic intelligence, theories.

3.3. Content Knowledge

3.3.1. knowing about your subject matter. Ex: English knowing novels, authors, writing practices, grammar, sentence structure.

3.4. All 3 of these can be grouped in pairs. Example : TK+PK

3.4.1. Being able to choose the correct technology to further enhance you pedagogical choices in a learning setting.

3.5. Technology, Pedagogy and Content Knowledge

3.5.1. The merging of all 3 knowledge shows a different method in teaching. Using pedagogy to shape your content and redressing that with technology so that you can approach and teach in a that can enhance the learning of 21st century students.

4. SAMR

4.1. Redefinition

4.1.1. Able to use technology in a completely new way to support student focused learning.

4.2. Modification

4.2.1. To use technology in a way that supports students through a significant functional change.

4.3. Augmentation

4.3.1. Some functional change and an increase in student engagement.

4.4. Substitution

4.4.1. No real change to learning or teaching, minimum functional change.

4.5. These are the 4 levels which are used to identify how much of an effect using technology will have on students grade improvement. It can also be used to help evaluate how useful your choice of technology is.
