5.1.1. Under French diplomatic pressure, Japan expelled Chau and his fellow activists, leading to the dissolution of the Dong Du Movement.

6.1. Founding of the "Vietnam Restoration League" (Viet Nam Quang Phuc Hoi)
6.1.1. He formed the Viet Nam Quang Phuc Hoi in Guangzhou, China, to coordinate revolutionary activities aimed at overthrowing French rule in Vietnam.

7.1.1. Chau was captured by French agents in Shanghai, leading to his return to Vietnam. He was put under house arrest in Hue.
