1. Adjectives
1.1. Are words which descrube nouns and pronouns
1.2. Ex. pretty - old - nice - blue
1.3. If adjectives are followed by the noun they describe, the articles a, an, and the precede them.
2. Interjections
2.1. Are words which express emotion or are "fillers" in sentences. They're always followed by an exclamation point "!"
2.2. Ex. Oh! - Wow! - Yes! - Uh-oh! - Help! - Hooray! - Cheers!
3. Conjunctions
3.1. Are words which connect or join words, phrases, or sentences
3.2. Ex. and - but - for - yet - or - nor - though - since - unless
4. Verbs
4.1. Are words which show action or being
4.2. Ex. go - learn - be - sleep - connect
5. Pronouns
5.1. Are words which can replace a noun by refering to it
5.2. Ex. they - you - I - them - himself - us - her - ourselves - it
5.3. There are other types of pronouns that refer to possession
5.4. Ex. hers - our - mine - his - its - their - yours - my
6. Nouns
6.1. Are words which name persons, places, things, or ideas.
6.2. Ex. table - dog - flower - cup - candy - happiness - house - online
7. Prepositions
7.1. Are words which idicate time, place, or position
7.2. Ex. abroad - down - above - upon - around - under - on
8. Adverbs
8.1. Are words which describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs
8.2. Ex. not - almost - too - very - always and most words ending in ly
