5. A&R Department

5.1. 1. Locates and signs new talent.

5.2. 2. Sets up production team to work with the new Artist.

5.3. 3. Is the "middle-man" between the Artist and the Record Label.

5.4. 4. Assists with song selection.

5.5. 5. Signs a Producer to produce the Artist's album.

5.6. 6. Negotiates with Recording Studios.
