2. Challenges

2.1. People use soil every day they build on it and it can be over used by planting to much or taking too much out of it.

2.1.1. However the soil is not very threatened as much as the things living or buried inside of it

2.2. People can own soil by buying property and with the growing in population more and more soil is being owned by humans instead of its original occupants, animals.

3. Long term outlook

3.1. The long term outlook of soil is very good

3.1.1. However the outlook look if the things are not very good

3.1.1.1. Ways to keep the materials in soil are -Reuse the materials we take out of soil -Reduce the out take on the things we take from soil -Find a new way to get the same effect of these materials

4. Timeline

4.1. First we used it for a foundation to build a shelter shortly we used it also to plant our own food

4.2. Then we dug into the soil and found minerals and useful materials such as coal

4.3. Now we see that it holds a bunch of earths creatures. We continue to dig and use its minerals and natural materials

4.4. Someday the soil will run out of these materials and we will have to find better ways to reuse these materials for energy and other things that we use and need from the soil.

5. Location

5.1. Soil may cover a lot of the surface of earth and found virtually everywhere the useable soil is a very thin layer on earth and only makes up about 3% of earth.
