1.1. Economic status is leading to segregation of cultures in school leading to a less diverse atmosphere to learn
1.2. Diversity is misrepresented based on pre constructed notions from teachers instead of true facts therefore feeding into the stereotype
2. Achievement Gap
2.1. The difference in testing scores we see from different culture groups when compared to their white peers
2.2. Not as accurately represented because testing isn't created with different cultures in mind. Questions may hold bias to certain cultures and lead to misrepresented results.
3. Lack of Parent Involvement
3.1. Parent follow through and involvement facilitates learning at home and during school break periods holding a student more accountable for their learning
3.2. When parents do not participate in their child's success it leaves the child with one less resource and support to further their academic abilities.
