Alternatively use changedetection.com or Page2RSS for changes to website pages you wish to monitor. If it is a specific topic you wish to monitor new content on the web for set up google alerts on those topics and receive email updates. If your inbox fills up too quickly with alert emails set up a separate folder for google alerts and change detection and create rules for those emails to go to those specified folders.
