1. GOING AROUND Battery's store energy for portable use.

2. WHAT IT POWERS Electricity powers every piece of technology we have invented, and some uses more than others.

3. CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS Conductors let electricity flow through, (e.g.) spoons, paper clips, tin foil and paper fastener. All conductors are metal except graphite. Insulators don't let electricity flow through. (e.g.) straw, felt, ping pong ball, string, cardboard and sponge. There are some materials that are both, like a pencil and a peg. These materials are made of conductors and insulators

4. CIRCUITS There are 2 types of circuits, parallel and series.

4.1. PARALLEL The pro about parallel, is that its brighter than series, because they are 2 induvidual circuits using the same battery. The con about parallel, is that the electricity flows faster, so the electricity runs out quicker than series

4.2. SERIES The pro about series is that, it uses less and equal electricity, because the light bulbs are in one circuit sharing the same battery. The con about series, is that the bulb brightness is lower than parallel, because they are both sharing the same battery.SERIES The pro about series is that, it uses less and equal electricity, because the light bulbs are in one circuit sharing the same battery. The con about series, is that the bulb brightness is lower than parallel, because they are both sharing the same battery

5. SWITCHES There are different types of switches, for different kinds of uses. There is a pressure switch and a conductor switch.

5.1. PRESSURE SWITCHES Pressure switches are used for (e.g.) burglar alarms and door bells. So if you let go stopped pressing the electricity would stop flowing. You wouldn't like the door bell to keep dinging at night!

5.2. CONDUCTOR SWITCHESConductor switches are used for (e.g.) lights/ lamps and air cone. If we used pressure switches for those, you'd have to keep standing next to the switch pressing to keep the light on

6. COMPONENTS Electricity is used to power components. (e.g.) Light bulbs, motors motors/propellers and LEDs. They are all powered by electricity. If we didn't have electricity, there would be no point of making them.

7. ELECTRICAL SAFETY Electricity is dangerous, it can give you an electric shock, and may be even kill you because of its power.

8. WHERE IT COMES FROM Electricity is powered by the sun, wind, water, coal and oil. The sun, water and wind is renewable, but coal and oil are non-renewable

9. POWER STATIONS There are four types of power stations to make electricity. Hydro, nuclear, wind, solar, and coal and oil power stations.
