2.1.1. when white light passes through a prism a spectrum of light consisting of red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo,violet
2.1.2. Able to reverse the effect of the spectrum by shining it into a prism that is upside down causing the spectrum to form back into white light
2.1.3. the red light travels the fastest while the purple light travels the slowest causing the colours in the spectrum to be in the same order every time light is passed through a prism
