1. On April 4, 1968, was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee.
2. He graduated at the age of fiteen from a segregated public school in Georgia.
3. He was a prominent leader in the African-American civil rights movement.
4. By the time of his death in 1968, he had refocused his efforts on ending poverty and opposing the Vietnam War, both from a religious perspective.
5. He was born in Atlanta,Georgia. And died in Memphis, Tennessee.
