1. Input devices such as touch screen input information into the computer. The user touched the icon for internet explorer on the screen.

2. Input device such as scanner scans an image and inputs the image into the computer

3. The end result from the touch screen input device shows up on the screen such as going to a specific website. The end result is the internet explorer web page opened up.

4. The end result from the scanner input device would be the image showing up on the computer monitor which in this case is not a touch screen. Just a monitor which is an output device that shows the image that was inputting into the computer by the scanner.
