How does Poverty affect young people around the world?

1. lack of basic needs

2.1. mistreatment of children

3. lack of free time/play
3.1. no real childhood
4. Poor areas- slums, etc
4.1. people are born into these areas and cannot get out of poverty
4.2. live in areas without proper sanitation
5. High risk of becoming orphan
6. MEDCs can get cheap goods produced in LEDCs
7. lack of education
7.1. few job opportunities
7.2. only capable to do simple jobs/labour
7.3. 'bad situations'
7.3.1. crime, drugs, etc
7.3.2. social instability
7.4. risk of exploitation
7.4.1. human trafficking
