1.1. Values his family
1.2. Begins believing in the towns goodness, after the trial he changes his thoughts and sees that the world isnt as pure and perfect as he thought in his childhood

1.4. Values his education and his fathers effort in his life
2. How Others See Him
2.1. at the start they see him as a young immature boy but nearing the end he matures and the adults develop respect for him
2.2. Others see him as a boy who learns as he goes as in the book he makes a lot of mistakes but he learns from them
