1.1. PRETZI

1.1.1. This is presentation solftware where you pick a template and add content, images, or effects. You can also add videos. This is comporable to a power point. An administrator could use this to develop an introduction power point at the beginning of the year or faculty meeting.

1.2. WOLFRAM ALPHA

1.2.1. If math homework stumps you, this is the website for you! Not only does it give you the caloric total of a meal or crossword puzzle, but it will also give you the answer to a math problem.

1.3. EDMOTO

1.3.1. Edmodo is an online system support for technology learners. This site is a lot like Facebook but it is focused on technology. People who are struggling with anything "tech" this is a way to ask for help from your colleagues.

1.4. BUBBLE US

1.4.1. This is a mind mapping website. It could be used for students, administrators, or faculty to develop a visual outline much like MindMeiser or Webspiration.

2. CRITCAL THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING TOOLS

2.1. SPELLING & VOCABULARY CITY

2.1.1. Because my students have different lists, this site works well. The students can put their own list in and practice by playing games and test themselves at the same time. For some of my kids the Missing Letter Game is critical thinking.

2.2. IXL LANGUAGE

2.3. RAZ KIDS

2.3.1. This is one of the best sites I have come acrooss. It has fun, individualized K-6 lessons. The lessons cover National Standards and the kids learn to read and think critically. The detailed reports help to document what students have mastered.

2.3.2. This is a reading and vocabulary site. The students are assigned a reading level up to the 5th grade. Cricial thinking and phonetics are both emphasized. Students listen to stories, read the story, and then take the quiz. Teachers can get reports on their progress.

2.4. WEBQUEST

2.4.1. Webquest can give you lessons on critical thinking, English, science, social studies, science, etc. You name, it has it. There are templates to make your own Webquest or use what has already been made.

3. COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION TOOLS

3.1. GOOGLE DOCS

3.1.1. Administrators can set this up to have teachers input information in when a student is sent to another room or the SSC room. This is an interactive program that can be sent to anyone in the school. That person can add or change information. It comes up immediately for everyone to see including administration.

3.2. BLOGS IN THE CLASSROOM

3.2.1. This is a quick way to get information and learn from one another. Students feel comfortable with this form of communication. It is similar to Facebook. Administrators coulod check on the blog periodically to see what is discussed in a class.

3.3. VOICE THREADS

3.3.1. "Conversation in the cloud." Both faculty and elementary students can use this. Songs, pieces of are, or a research paper can be uploaded and then either students or peers comment on it. It is easy to learn and helps communicate not just words but emotion.

3.4. RUBISTAR

3.4.1. Rusistar is a free link where you can make your own rubrics or downlaod rubrics others have already made. It saves time! Educators can collaborate to come up with one common rubric by sharing. This is a great way for administrators to check that students are assessed consistently.
