1. Scarlett Amber Perkins
1.1. What is her relationship with Bod?
1.1.1. She is Bod's first friend, she is able to see him despite the freedom of the graveyard keeping him hidden from humans in the graveyard. She also helped Bod to pronounce unfamiliar names and words.
1.1.2. Later in the book, Scarlett helps Bod to learn more about his deceased family and the murderer.
1.2. How does bod feel about her?
1.2.1. After Scarlet left for Scotland, Bod still remembers her and he misses her. (page 230, "Still he had remembered Scarlett, had missed her for years after she went away...")
1.2.2. Bod wants to talk to Scarlett, since they have not seen each other for many years and they were never in contact with each other during those years. ( page 232, "theres a girl i used to know, and i wasn't sure if i should find her and talk to her or if i should just forget about it" and "She's not my true love, said Bod. Just someone i'd like to talk to" )
1.2.3. Bod is very protective of Scarlett, he ensured her that she's not dead, "Not yet. Not for a long time." (page 263)
1.2.4. After the fight with the Jacks ended, he admitted that he likes Scarlett as Silas erased her memories of him (page 289, 'Bod said, "i liked her"'
2. Mother Slaughter
2.1. What is her Relationship with Bod?
2.1.1. She was the person who suggested keeping Bod in the graveyard instead of letting Bod leave, the night he came. "I says 'we can't let the little fellow leave' And with the support of the Lady on the grey, everyone agreed to let Bod stay in the graveyard.
2.2. How does Bod feel about her?
2.2.1. Bod respects her, as she is definitely much older than him. (page 297 "He put down the flowers in front of the stone, respectfully.")
2.2.2. He felt that Mother Slaughter was behaving very oddly when she asked if he can see blossom. (page 146, "Blossom? In winter?" "Don't you look at me with that face on, young man,"....."How odd," Said Bod)
3. The Man Jack
3.1. what is his relationship with Bod?
3.1.1. Sent by his organization to kill Bod and his family, but Bod manages to escape.
3.2. How does Bod feel about him?
3.2.1. When Bod first learns about him, he wants vengeance . In page 181 of the book, he says, " If i go outside in the world, the question isn't 'who will keep me safe from him'...its 'who will keep him safe from me??''
3.2.2. Later, when Scarlet is in danger, page 262-263 of the book, he begins to feel a fear of Jack, because although Jack cannot hurt him, he can hurt his friends.
4. Silas
4.1. What is his relationship with Bod?
4.1.1. He is Bod's guardian, he brings Bod food and he also teaches him things like reading and writing.
4.2. How does Bod feel about him?
4.2.1. When Bod was arrested by Mo's uncle, Tam, Silas deliberately went in front of their car to stop them, so that Bod could be out of trouble and escape. (page 202-204)
4.2.2. Bod got angry at Silas when he learns that Silas saw The Man Jack before, in page 216 of the book, '"Why didn't Silas just kill him?" said Bod, fiercely.
4.2.3. Later when the fight with the Jacks ended, Silas erased Scarlett's memories, causing Bod to be upset with him. ( page 289 " How could you make her forget me?" and 'Bod tried to smile, but he could not find a smile inside himself'
