1. Pursue the baby until the graveyard, this shows his determination and perseverance.
2. Made a small noise when the baby was nowhere to be found and hence make a grunt that contained in it both frustration and also satisfaction.This shows that he is impatient in doing his jobs.
3. The street door was still open, just a little, where the knife and the man who held it had slipped in,and wisps of nighttime mist slithered and twined into the house through the open door. This shows that the man was an uninvited guest.
4. "The knife had done almost everything it was brought to that house to do, and both the blade and the handler were wet.''This shows that everyone in the house was murdered by the knife as jack exclaimed that the knife has done his job and at the same time, the handler was wet by the blood scene.This concluded he is a cold-blooded murderer.

6. The baby
6.1. When he learned to walk, he had been his parent's apple eye, as there never was such a boy for wandering, for climbing up things, for getting into and out of things. This shows that the child is the centre of attraction as he manage to earn his parent's despair and delight through learning walking.
6.2. Manage to get out of the house as the door to the street was open and inviting.
6.3. Bravery and courageous as he stepped out of the house after a little of hesitation despite the fog that wreathed around him like a long-last friend, uncertainly at first but quicken up the pace and tottered up the hill.
6.4. Has the sweetest of smiles and also has a sparse blond hair.
7. Mr Owens and Mrs Owens
7.1. Mrs Owens found the baby when she crouched down and peered at something on the ground.
7.2. Mrs Owens-A pale, plump woman that has a voice which might have been the rustle of the wind through the long grass.With a second, more careful glance and you will realized that she was only a moonlight, mist, and shadow.
7.3. Mr Owen was puzzled when he saw the baby as it is unquestionably alive and as such, that it has nothing associate with him and do not belong to our world(The ghost world).
