1. Input Devices

1.1. An input device is a device interfaced with a computer into which a user may enter data to be used by the computer (Lever-Duffy, & McDonald, 2011).

1.2. Keyboard, mouse, digital camera

1.2.1. Digital Cameras-Works like a traditional camera except that it does not use light sensitive film. The photo or image is stored in the camera’s memory card or on disks as digital data.

1.2.2. Benefits: you can practice computer skills by uploading and editing photos. Challenges: It can be a distraction and the cost because most schools don't have funding.

1.2.2.1. You can use digital cameras during field trip and have class upload photos to make a PowerPoint presentation

2. Output Device

2.1. An output device is a device connected to the computer with which the computer may transmit information or results to the user or another connected device (Lever-Duffy, & McDonald, 2011).

2.2. speakers, printers, and monitors

2.2.1. Speakers - is a tool used to project more sound around an area.

2.2.1.1. Benefits: help meet the needs of auditory learners and some challenges are that the speakers may not project sounds to all areas of the classroom.

2.2.1.1.1. You can use speakers during a movie that the students would need to answer questions about.
