1. back cover

1.1. The back cover is the only place where the block colour of white is lost, this is because the entire back cover is made up of a large picture of the artist tom law, he is clearly the creator of the album, the picture may be used to help bring a face to the artist in peoples memories and create a bigger profile for the creator himself, who is in fact an unsigned artist.

1.2. People may feel that the photo breaks the stereotype of a typical digipak however i feel that the image is being used cleverly as a form of promotion for the singer. the writing style for the front and back of the digipak are a very similar typewriter font, which is completely made up of block capitals, on the back the writing stands out due to the white colour, which contrasts with the bricks in the background. the background around the writing is also slightly faded so that the text itself stands out better. below the writing is the barcode and the small print font, all of this is important for a digipak but this is a clever place to put the text as the writing itself isn't heavily noticeable to the usual buyer, but someone who wanted to see it specifically could find it easily.

2. Middle cover

2.1. the middle of the digipak itself follows the colour scheme of white and blue with the left side covered mostly by the blue ink blotch style, the left side of the digipak breaks another convention as in this one it has the lyrics to the four songs written down the side, this again isn't something normally done but it may be quite helpful for new listeners, who may be hearing this unsigned artist for the first time, and is yet another way of promoting the artists music. The song lyrics also help to make the digipak more personal, as it feels as though the artist has done it specifically to help the listener. This personal style continues on the right side as a small thank you message has been left for all the buyers, which would put confidence in the listener that the artist is thinking about the individual and music hasn't gone to their head. the CD is positioned in the right side of the digipak in a small fold, the CD has the same picture as the front of the digipak, showing that a continuous style is followed throughout.

3. Front Cover

3.1. The cover of this EP follows a block print of white throughout and this takes up a majority of the colour around the picture on the front cover, however it obvious that the focus point of the cover itself is the blue ink that takes a central position.

3.2. The picture itself could have many different symbols based on the person who is looking at it, to me personally i believe it is to show how the most basic things, like the beginning of a song can grow into something much bigger and beautiful.

3.3. The picture may also relate to the way that music springs and grows into something new quite similarly to the way nature grows and evolves. The light blue and the white colours work well and gives the front cover itself a mellow and calm overall look, the smudging on the edge round the edges of the blue picture makes the album itself look a little more messy, but shows that the artist wasn't looking for a clean perfect album but instead can find beauty in the messiness.
