1.1.1. Identify Your Values My religion is Christianity, and my family strongly believes in it. The Bible says to be honest and don't lie. The Bible also says that you should treat your neighbour like you treat yourself, and so I would probably tell him the truth. I would also want to keep our friendship alive, and if I lied to him I would feel guilty and stop hanging out with him.
1.1.1.1. Decide and Act I would choose to tell him the truth and buy him a new one. I have enough money saved up that I could afford to buy him a new iPhone. What I would do is I would go up to him at some point and just tell him the truth that I broke his phone. Then I would give him the brand new iPhone 6 Plus and he would be even happier because he would have gotten the new model.
1.1.1.1.1. Evaluate the Results My decision has gotten my friend to trust me and know that I'm responsible. Our friendship has grown since then, and he's happy about the new iPhone 6 Plus.
