2.1.4. Kings served as the gods' chief representatives, preformed ceremonies to please the gods.

3.1.3. Used oracle bones to ask their ancestors advice for life.

3.1.4. Sacrificed slaves so they could help their master in the after life.

3.2.1. Believed gods were like humans in some ways. They ate, drank, fell in love, and married.
