1. Jog Lightly

1.1. This is done to get the muscles loose and warm

2. Stretch Hamstrings

2.1. This is done so that you will be more flexible and be able to pull your leg forward faster

3. Stretch Calves

3.1. This is done so that the calf muscles can help the foot cope with the weight of the body as pressure is being put on the foot constantly

4. Stretch Groin

4.1. These muscles are very easily pulled so there is a need to make sure that they are loose and limber

5. Fast Jog

5.1. This is the final stage of warming up

5.2. After this is performed then the athlete is able to play his/her sport at a high level
