1.1. Pros: Overall better control of your devices

1.2. Cons:If your software isn't upgraded to XP then it is better to just stick with the original OS

1.3. Pros: Windows 7's security is stronger and less intrusive

1.4. Cons: Although there are great multitasking features the original operating system can stand par to Windows 7 so no real reason to go out and buy it

2. Linux:Ubuntu

2.1. Pros: No need for disk defragmentation

2.2. Cons: IT has trouble with getting wireless after power outages (I have to reenter the WEP key)

2.3. Pros: Much more customizable then any other OS

2.4. Cons: Doesn't emulate windows based games well

4.2. Cons: Huge privacy concerns since it tracks mostly everywhere you go and have been

4.4. Cons:Integration with the new Windows OS doesn't workout smoothly in terms of multitasking snap tiles and voice recognition

5. Apple, OS X

5.1. Pros: Notable increased speed

5.2. Cons: iDisk syncing sometimes remains out of sync when plugging in a USB

5.3. Pros: Spaces option letting you move smoothly and effectively through your system with little effort

5.4. Cons: New feature "Time Machine" causing corrupted data files
