4.1. It is not possible to prevent earth- quakes, but it is possible to prepare for them. You can prepare by doing things like, get to know the closest evacuation systems or prepare emergency food and water supplies for evacuation.

6.1. A sudden movement in the ground that causes a huge amount of destruction when high on the magnitude scale

7.1. To protect yourself from an earthquake you can do a lot of things like, going to the evacuation center and wait for rescuers to pick you up, or go to an out door place where there aren't any high buildings that could fall and crush you.
