Earthquakes

1. Location
1.1. Most earthquakes occur along the oceanic plates (the earths crust.)
2. Causes
2.1. When the tectonic plates rub together
3. Impacts
3.1. There are a lot of impacts from earthquakes and none of them are that good. For example, loss of lives, loss of homes, properties and businesses, disruption of the marketing system, etc.
4. Prevention
4.1. It is not possible to prevent earth- quakes, but it is possible to prepare for them. You can prepare by doing things like, get to know the closest evacuation systems or prepare emergency food and water supplies for evacuation.
5. Known case studies
5.1. The largest earthquake in the world is the one that is known by the most people.
5.1.1. It happened in Chile in 1960. It was a 9.5 on the magnitude scale!
