1. Conversation
1.1. Phase 1
1.1.1. Pupils can participate in language games.
1.1.2. Pupils can use simple phrases in class such as 'Good morning' or 'Goodbye'
1.2. What we do in class:
1.2.1. We are playing a game with the class that includes English words.
1.2.2. We are using a video as an icebreaker: The Good Morning song.
1.3. Phase 2
1.3.1. The pupils can ask and answer simple questions using simple phrases. They know how to ask questions and the pupils know how to use the interrogative words.
1.3.2. What we do in class:
1.3.2.1. We are doing an activity using flash cards with farm animals and asking 'Is this a cow?' for example.
1.3.2.2. We are playing a game, the hopscotch, using their knowledge of the farm animals.
